Whether your student struggles with math, excels or is somewhere in between, our math tutoring will meet them where they are.
As with all of our tutoring services, we customize the way we work with each student. We establish a relationship of trust and incorporate each student’s interests and goals into our approach. Our math tutoring is not different.
Designed to Inspire, Motivate, and Keep your Student’s Skills Sharp
Our math tutoring program starts by determining where your student might be in their math understanding, and what gaps they may have. We then craft a customized program based on your student’s learning style, building on strengths, and providing solutions to overcome weaknesses. We also address possible math anxiety and dyscalculia.
Our math teachers use the research-based technique of guiding a student through the math solution process, so they can take an active approach to their math understanding, and as a result, achieve an unmatched level of problem-solving skills, and conceptual and numerical fluency.
Our math tutoring goal is to build mathematics confidence and inspire a love of math regardless of level.
We have been successful with both reluctant and eager students. We will be with yours as well.

S4’s math tutoring program is designed to support your student’s success in:
- Pre-Algebra

How it Works
All tutoring is scheduled at your convenience, including Saturday and Sunday, and during the day.
Services are offered in six-hour packages, with tutoring sessions usually of one hour in length.
In addition to the tutoring sessions, we also offer 15-minute morning and/or afternoon check-ins in between meetings. This will:
- Create accountability
- Provide focus and clarity on what needs to get done, and by when
- Help your student prioritize their day, and meet deadlines
